Herbal Remedies for Allergy

Allergy is a disorder that concerns the body's immune system. Allergic reactions occur over environmental substances. These substances are called allergens.
Allergens are easily acquired and can spread rapidly. Common allergies are eczema, hay fever, asthma, hives, and food allergies.
Insect bites by wasps and bees may also cause allergic reactions.
The symptoms of allergic reactions are itchiness, runny nose, and allergic conjunctivitis.

There are several herbal remedies that might could provide a solutions and treatments for allergies. These are:

  • Treat Acne with Olive Leaf: The extract or oil an olive leaf is one of the natural sources of phytochemicals. The oil of olive leaves can be used as an anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-parasitic agent. Right now, olive leaf oil is widely available in many pharmaceutical stores.
  • Chamomile Treatment for Allergies: Chamomile essential oil can help treat allergy caused by dust, feathers, and pet hairs.
Place an air humidifier in the room and then put a few drops of chamomile oil the humidifier's water system. This will help relieve allergic reactions like asthma.
  • Herbal Treatment with Green Tea: Green Tea has natural anti-bacterial properties and acts as anti-histamine commonly used on allergies.
Green tea also reduces sinus infections. A cup of green tea a day will help you treat the most common allergic reactions.
Pour boiled water in a cup. Steep a bag of green tea for 3 to 4 minutes. It should be ready for drinking.
  • Eucalyptus Oil as a Natural Treatment: Eucalyptus oil is now commonly available over-the-counter. Eucalyptus can be directly applied on allergies caused by insect bites with itchiness and skin redness. Though, this should be used or apply in a little amount and only on the affected areas only.
  • Garlic for Allergy: Garlic is a good treatment for cough caused by dirt and dust.
Boil a cup of water, chop or mince garlic then put it on the boiled water and steep for several minutes. Strain out the garlic and drink it hot or lukewarm.
